This introductory course is designed for students with little to no prior knowledge of Korean. It focuses on building a foundation in the Korean alphabet, basic vocabulary, grammar, and essential conversational skills.
Building upon the skills acquired in Beginning Korean I, this course further develops students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities in Korean. It expands vocabulary, grammar, and cultural knowledge.
This course is designed for students with a basic understanding of Korean. It aims to enhance students' language proficiency through more complex grammar structures, expanded vocabulary, and cultural discussions.
Continuing from Intermediate Korean I, this course focuses on improving students' communicative skills in Korean. It emphasizes conversational fluency, reading comprehension, and cultural understanding.
This course is designed for students who have already attained a solid foundation in Korean. It aims to refine and polish students' language skills through advanced grammar, vocabulary, and interactive activities.

By implementing placement and proficiency tests, students are carefully assigned to courses that align with their present language proficiency level, resulting in a highly effective and personalized learning journey.
The placement test is intended for students who wish to assess their language proficiency in order to determine the appropriate level of courses.
The proficiency test is administered to students who have previously studied or been exposed to the Korean language.
The placement test : August 28, 2025 (Thursday) 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
The proficiency test : September 2, 2025 (Tuesday) 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
