Create operational resilience by fostering customer relationships and implementing strategies to minimize the risk of business interruptions due to resource constraints.

Implement processes and structures, both technological and organizational, that will enable us to provide evermore stable and reliable services and anticipate, plan and respond to difficulties when they occur. As needed, we will endeavor to communicate what resources are required to achieve specific levels of availability.

Why operational resilience?

Above all else, IT is about service. A primary objective of CIS is to facilitate the work of the faculty, students, and employees of the college. A foundational aspect of that is to ensure the services that are critical to those operations remain available and function optimally - to the best of our capacity to do so.
