National Read-Aloud Challenge - Year 7 to 11: register here as a 'Parent'. Once you have done this, you can access the Fonetti app.
Practice reading aloud for 20 minutes a day! Fonetti will build your confidence with reading aloud and monitor your progress.
There are a range of 11+ booklets covering topics for everyone! You will find 5 levels of difficulty starting at A2, moving up to C1; you can challenge yourself as you grow in confidence. There are rewards for schools and individuals who have the highest engagement!

KS4 Reading Challenge
Continue to improve your reading skills by taking part in our KS4 Challenge! Anybody in years 9-11+ will be able to claim a reading badge and be in the Prize Draw entry by completing the Varndean Reader Google Form: 6 books for bronze, 12 for silver, and 18 for gold from the list of recommended 'Books to Read Before You Leave Varndean'.
