The major difference between a 2 year college (community college) and a 4 year college (university) is price and degree options.
Often times with a 4 year university you can get your bachelors (undergrad) degree and pursue multiple programs beyond that - a masters degree or a PhD. These programs often times are more expensive.
With a 2 year college you can only get your associates degree or a certificate in a certain field. This option is far cheaper and still a great option, but is not the right option for some jobs.
Your decision should depend on what type of career you want to pursue! Both are good options, but are tailored for your needs!
You can transfer from a community college to a 4 year university as a way to save money and settle into life after high school more easily!
