What is Canvas?

Canvas is a learning management system that allows teachers to post learning resources and instruction online. Teachers can create assignments, share links, upload documents and grade student work within their course.

When students login to Canvas, they will see a list of their courses. Teachers post assignments and links to resources for students to explore in these courses. Students can participate in discussions, quizzes, and submit their work to be graded. The Canvas gradebook shows a grade for each assignment that was submitted to Canvas.
