The district often hires Lifeguards!

Students age 16 and older can become certified as a lifeguard. This is the first step to being employed as a lifeguard at our two pools in the district. Students are eligible to receive credit for working. Students need to know they do not have to be super strong swimmers. They need to be able to swim 2 lengths of the pool without stopping, 10 feet underwater and retrieve a 10 pound brick from the "deep" area (about 4'3").

We are also hiring for Recreation Assistants. This position learns how to belay people on the Rock Wall at the Jim Parsley Community Center. They also assist the front desk staff, work with birthday parties (which are currently on hold due to COVID), and assist with day camps.
