Steps to making sure stress is under control
Monitor and verbalize about your stress levels and impact on a daily basis.
Share how you are feeling with others everyday. (Do not bottle things up as that is unhealthy and makes it worse)
Consistently get the physical and mental health help you need, from professionals when needed.
Consistently keep building a list of personal stress coping mechanisms that work best for you.
Use those stress coping mechanisms on a daily basis.

Hello everyone,
As I begin the last Social Emotional Learning/Mental Health Awareness message, I hope that you have and continue feeling supported, valued, and communicated with. I am doing this because I care. As a Skyview counseling, admin, and staff team, we all care! This has been a historic year, but I am grateful for the efforts made by our students, staff, and families to rise above the challenges we are all facing together.
The final topic of the year is on the importance of good mental health. I hope that each of you has and will continue to make the mental health of yourself and those around you a daily priority. Mental health and self care isn’t a trend or something we should pay attention to every once in a while. We must be evaluating and implementing good mental health practices for ourselves and others everyday.
Here are the resources for this week including a video, mental health guides, and a self care planning sheet.

As always, please continue to make the mental health of you and those you care about a daily priority. I will keep being here to help you with whatever you need. Let's keep fighting to eliminate any negative stigma around discussing and caring for mental health.
I hope that each of you feels loved and supported. I hope that you know that your life matters and there is always hope and help available. Never give up! Never stop trying! You can do this! Love, passion, and perseverance to you all! LPP Yeah you know G!
Please take care of yourselves and others.
My love and best regards to each of you!
