What is a School Counselor?
School counselors are assigned to you for 3 years of middle school. They guide you from the start of 6th grade to preparing for high school in 8th grade.
Counselors focus on supporting your academic needs, social and emotional needs as well as educate you on high schoool, post high school and career pathways.
Jason Lee counselors support all students to learn self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and decision making. We provide interventions for students in need by meeting individually and in small groups. We partner with teachers to ensure students learn the necessary skills to be successful in middle school.
