MS. BRADIN

After high school in Northern California, I went to university and studied Cultural Studies Photojournalism, a program I designed to incorporate three areas of personal interest. I hoped to one day travel the world and experience different cultures, sharing my experiences with others by writing magazine articles and sharing photographs. Upon graduating, I took my first job at a daily newspaper as a reporter. This eventually led me into a position as the education editor. I wrote articles about local, state and national education news and every week I wrote a story highlighting a local student who persevered through a personal challenge. I quickly realized I had a passion working with young people in the school setting. I returned to school and earned my Masters Degree in Education specializing in Counseling and Guidance. I have been a licensed school counselor since 2000. I have worked in California, Massachusetts, Oregon, and Washington. Middle School is a very important time in a person's life and can bring challenges. It is a time when young people begin discovering their uniqueness including the many talents and gifts they bring to the world. I enjoy my work encouraging students and supporting them to grow into confident, empathetic individuals that practice skills maneuvering through life’s challenges. I do my best to be a positive team member for students in this journey, help them gain necessary skills to create a pathway to personal success.

When I’m not working I like to travel, mountain and road bike, hike, kayak, camp, take photographs and make stuff. I love music and like to sing and make music.

Please let me know if I can be of assistance to you.
