SEPTEMBER 2025
Administration Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
On behalf of the entire school administration and staff, welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! We are excited to begin this journey with you and your children, and we look forward to a year filled with growth, discovery, and success.
Whether your family is new to our school community or returning for another year, we are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where every student can thrive. Our teachers and staff have been hard at work preparing engaging lessons, setting high expectations, and fostering a culture of kindness, respect, and achievement.
Strong partnerships between school and home are essential to student success. We encourage open communication and invite you to stay involved throughout the year. Be sure to keep an eye on upcoming newsletters, school events, and opportunities to connect with our team.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. Let’s make this year a great one, together!
Announcements
All pants MUST be uniform slack, NOT jeans, cargo pants, or leggings.
On the LAST Wednesday of every month, students MUST wear their Baby Blue Button up shirt.
Students may NOT wear skirts/shorts.
For the safety of all our students, staff, and families, we kindly remind you to drive slowly and remain off your cell phones while in the school zone. Your full attention and caution help ensure a safe environment for everyone during busy drop-off and pick-up times.
Thank you for putting safety first!
Please remember that any student leaving before 3:45 PM must be signed out in person at the front office by a parent, guardian, or an emergency contact listed in our system.
The only exceptions to this policy are:
Students leaving for approved practicum work hours
Students driving to South Texas College for dual credit courses
All other students, including those who drive themselves, will not be released early unless signed out in person.
Student drivers may only leave at 3:45 PM, unless they meet one of the exceptions above.
We appreciate your support in helping us keep all students safe and accounted for.
We love seeing our students show their Gladiator pride and support our teams! However, to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please be aware of the following guidelines:
Students must be accompanied by an adult to attend games. Students arriving without an adult will not be allowed to enter.
All students must go home after school and may not remain on campus to wait for a game to begin.
Pick-up time after school is 3:45 p.m. Students may return with an adult at the appropriate game time (5:30 p.m. or 6:00 p.m., depending on the scheduled game).
We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a safe and respectful environment at all school events. Please take a moment to review these expectations with your child.
We’re proud to share that our students are doing an excellent job following the expectations outlined in Texas House Bill 1481.
Their respectful behavior and commitment to a safe, responsible and focused learning environment reflect the values we uphold on our campus every day.
Keep up the great work!
