TIMEKEEPING AND PAY PRACTICES
Employees are paid weekly on Fridays, one week in arrears.
All GIGS employees MUST enter time/clock in and out via the HCMtogo app on a daily basis at the beginning and end of each shift and for unpaid lunches*
All GIGS employees should submit time for manager approval as soon as the work week is complete, but no later than 11:59 pm on Saturday. To submit, access the HCMtogo app, review your week, enter time off if applicable, and press Submit*
Payroll automatically calculates hours worked based on time entries in the HCMtogo app. All hours must be accurate and approved to pass through to payroll for the next pay cycle. If approved time is not received before payroll runs, it will be included in the following pay cycle.

All About Direct Deposit
As a reminder, direct deposit is available, and the Payroll Team would be more than happy to get you set up. See below the awesome benefits of direct deposit. There are a lot of prepaid debit card options for those who don't have a banking institution.
1. It’s convenient.
With direct deposit, you’ll never have to worry about losing a paper check again! A direct deposit account places the available funds into your checking account. If you need to access a paper copy of the deposited check for any reason, simply log into your online account to view or print it. Like all financial transactions, your direct deposit will appear on your monthly statement and in the “recent activity” section when accessing your account online or through banking app. electronic deposits also ensure you’re getting paid on time, even if you’re away from the office.
2. It saves valuable time.
Gone are the days of picking up a physical paycheck and waiting in line to make a deposit through a bank teller or drive-thru ATM. To ensure your paycheck has been deposited, simply log into your online bank or credit union account to make sure the funds have arrived. The best part? No wait time. You’ll have access to your money immediately.
3. It keeps your money safe and protected.
Another benefit of direct deposit? Security and protection. Once your cash reaches your bank account, it’s guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, a U.S. government agency that insures money placed in banks.

Q.- I need an employment verification form/ letter, who should I contact?
A.- All requests for employment verification should be sent via email to gigspayroll@vangst.com
Q.- I set up Direct Deposit, when will it take effect?
A.- Your account must go through the Pre Note Process (account verification) which can take up to 2 pay periods.
Q.- My Timesheet shows Raw Total and Calc Total, what’s the difference?
A.- Raw Total is your actual hours worked, and Calc (Calculated) total is your hours after your lunch break has been deducted.
