Adding Direct Deposit
Editing Direct Deposit
After you have one direct deposit setup, you may have more accounts where you want some of your pay to be deposited. Adding another “ NEW DIRECT DEPOSIT” will allow you to enter the information for an additional account. This will add an entry to the list of your direct deposits:
Using the Active From and Active To, you can specify when you want each account to be used.
You can also specify what method of calculation will be used to determine how much is deposited into each account. The Calc Method field has 5 available options:
Entire/Remainder – This option will take the entirety of a check or the remaining portion of a check. Please note that you can have multiple active direct deposits, however, you can have only ONE active with Entire/Remainder set as the Calc Method.
Flat $ Amount – Example $100, $200, etc.
% of Gross Earnings – This option will take X percentage you choose based on your gross earnings and put it into the specified account. Please note, if your gross is $2000 and your net pay is$1500 and you elect 50% of gross then you will have $1000 go to your specified account. Only $500remains to be deposited or go to live check.
% of Net Pay – This option will take X percentage based on your net pay and apply it to the specified direct deposit account.
% of Remaining Net – Take the example from % of Gross Earnings and continue on - $500 remains and you can put X percentage of that $500 into another account.
PLEASE NOTE – Entire/Remainder, Flat $ Amount, and % of Net Pay are the most commonly used. If you have only one Direct Deposit bank account, be sure to choose “Entire/Remainder” as your Calc Method.
If you have multiple direct deposit accounts, they will trigger in the order they are listed.
The same steps in different orders may calculate different amounts for the separate accounts. You can change the order with the arrow keys on the left.
After you have entered all of your direct deposit accounts and ordered them appropriately, click the “SAVE” button in the top right.
