Since 1998, Vanderbilt Off-Broadway has been the only completely student-run Vanderbilt performing arts group that produces full-length musicals. Since 2017, Vanderbilt Off-Broadway repertoire has consisted of three full-length musicals per academic year.
The season starts with our Fall Show coming to the stage in October, while the curtain rises on our Main Stage production in January, and our Spring Show hits the stage in April. Vanderbilt Off-Broadway encourages students to take part in every aspect of our productions, from casts to technical crews to pit orchestras. We always encourage individuals to audition for and participate in our shows each semester, regardless of how much experience they may have in the world of performing arts. Each year, we welcome new performers, musicians, crew members, and more into the “VOB family” that will act as a source of love, encouragement, and support throughout their time at Vanderbilt and beyond.
