Welcome to 7th grade Science

I cannot believe we are beginning a new Quarter.

During this last Quarter we will study Cells, Levels of Organization (Cells, Tissue, Organs, Organ Systems, Organism) and Human Body Systems

As an introduction to the Human Body Systems we will research the following systems: Nervous, Integumentary (Skin), Circulatory, Respiratory, Digestive, Endocrine, Immune, Urinary, Skeletal and Muscular.  We will be using the website

This page has articles and diagrams of the above systems.  Students will use the articles to answer questions and complete diagrams of the above systems.

We will then look at each of those systems individually and learn about the organs of the system and how they function.

At the end of the unit we will compare these systems with that of a frog by dissecting the frogs and studying its anatomy.
