Reassessment Policy

In a standards-based/referenced system, students are allowed multiple opportunities to reassess learning targets so that they can continue to work on their mastery of the standards.  

Reassessment is not necessarily taking the exact same assessment over again or making corrections to the original assessment.  The standard(s) that is/are being assessed will stay the same, how the standard(s) is/are assessed may be different.    

• Students will have two weeks (10 school days) to reassess after (grade/score/feedback) has been posted in PowerSchool.

• Students are responsible to let the teacher know they want to reassess.

• Students must have completed teacher assigned required practice to demonstrate learning before reassessment. 

• Students must meet the expectations for reteaching or review established by the individual teacher.
