Vision Statement

The vision of the Vista Verde Middle School comprehensive school counseling program is to facilitate equal access to a comprehensive school counseling program for all students, and that this program serve as an integral piece of the overall educational experience.  The VVMS school counseling program will also promote collaboration between school counselors, educators, parents, and other community stakeholders to ensure that the needs and goals of every student are addressed so that each student can be high school, college and career ready. 

SCHOOL COUNSELING MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the counselors at Vista Verde Middle School is to provide high quality, comprehensive school counseling services to all students.  Our programs are designed to help all students develop and enhance their academic, social, career, and personal strengths in order to become responsible and productive citizens. There is a commitment to individual uniqueness and the maximum development of human potential.
