A Little About Me
This is my 20th year in education. I have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and Kindergarten in Dual Language Immersion. Before joining Val Verde School District, I worked at Fontana School District for nine years as a Bilingual Aide and as the Athletic Director's Secretary. Teaching is, and always has been, my number one passion.
I was born in Panama and am a proud daughter of Salvadoran parents. My family and I moved to California in the 1980s. I graduated from Fontana High School and went on to attend California State University, San Bernardino, where I earned a Bilingual Teaching Credential, a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Spanish, and a Master’s degree in Education & Bilingual Cross-Cultural Studies.
I currently live in Beaumont with my husband. I enjoy traveling, watching sports (go Lakers and Dodgers!), and most of all, spending quality time with my family—because to me, family is everything.
