Ethnic Studies

Val Verde USD's vision of Ethnic Studies is to engage our students in a rigorous academic discourse that enlightens, empowers and increases understanding of differences and the value of diverse perspectives and experiences.

We will prepare students to actively challenge bias, stereotyping, and all forms of discrimination in our schools and community in a constructive and positive manner.
