What is a CTE pathway?
A CTE pathway is a sequence of two or more CTE courses within a student’s area of career interest. Pathways are designed to connect high school classes to college, industry certifications, and/or a career. CTE prepares secondary students with technical, academic and employability skills for success in the workplace and in post-secondary education.
CTE prepares youth for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill and high-demand careers. Students can also gain experience and technical skills training in the career field in which he/she is interested. In addition, students can earn industry recognized certifications in the career field of interest.
