AVID Write Off Winners

Every year, RIMS AVID students participate in a region-wide timed written essay. All articles and materials are given in advance with a suggested outline for teaching to lead up to the student essay. Each school will select one winner per grade level, with an additional two honorable mentions from any grade level to submit for recognition in the Write Off Ceremony.

All winning grade-level essays are graded and one regional winner is selected for each grade and specially recognized at the ceremony. All student winners from each school are invited to attend the Write Off ceremony, as well as their family members and teachers, AVID Coordinators and administration.
