Hello 1st Grader!

My name is Mrs. Padilla and I am so excited to be your teacher this year. I have so many fun learning activities planned for you! Learning in first grade is so much fun! There will be a lot of reading, writing, math, and so much more. Avalon is an amazing school and I am so happy you are part of our Avalon family.

Here is a little bit about me:

I have been teaching at Avalon since 2005 when Avalon Elementary first opened its doors. I have taught K-2 but mostly kinder and 1st grade. I truly love being a teacher and spending my day with my classroom family. My husband and I have two kids who we adore! They both were Avalon students too. My family and I love evening walks and movie nights. I can’t wait to learn all about you.

1st grade is a magical year. I am so happy to be a part of it!
