Welcome to my Research Lab: Gut clearance Regulation

The main focus of the lab research is to understand the host defense mechanism, gut clearance regulation and how the fungal gut,Candida albicans, bypass the gut clearance and invade the intestinal epithelium. We are using a combination of biochemical, fluorescent and electrophysiological approaches to delineate the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in the regulation of the gut clearance mechanism using the human colonic T84 cell as a model.
