History: Internship/Independent Study in the University Archives and Special Collections gives students the opportunity to actively work with collections at the University Archives and Special Collections and participate in academic discourse through the composition of an individual research paper. Students in the course will actively engage with primary and secondary sources, compose an original work of scholarship, and present their work to the campus community. For more a more thorough description of the course see: “What Is Your Title Today?” The Challenges and Rewards of Implementing an Internship/Independent Study Hybrid Course at the Valparaiso University Archives and Special Collections
