Vallivue High School Graduation Requirements

Vallivue High School follows the Idaho State Department of Education Minimum High School Graduation Requirements. In addition, Vallivue High School requires additional credits in Physical Education, Social Studies, and Senior Project class. Total credits required for graduation from VHS is a minimum of 51.

ALSO REQUIRED FOR GRADUATION:

College Entrance Exam

-Sophomores: PSAT

-Juniors: SAT

Idaho Civics Exam

-Taken as a junior

Social Studies Note: U.S. History 10 must be taken in 10th grade, U.S. History 11 in the 11th grade, and an American Government class in 12th grade.

Math Note: Two semesters of math must be taken during Senior year.

Physical Education Note: Students who complete two different sports or activities within the same school year, sponsored by Vallivue High School and signed off by the coach/advisor, will receive two (2) credits. This may be done only once during a student’s high school career, and must be requested during the year of participation.

Humanities Note: Course offerings in Humanities include Art, Drama, Music, and Foreign Language
