FOR THIS REASON, IT IS IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO TAKE BOTH TESTS!
Check and see if your college/university requires or encourages you to the a College Entrance Exam. Most Idaho school are "test optional."
The SAT and ACT are college entrance tests for students planning to enter 4-year colleges and universities. Most colleges will accept either exam but check the college admissions requirement to verify. These tests should be taken spring of Junior year and fall of Senior year.
Registration material, test dates, locations, test strategies and practice materials are available in the Career Center and below. If you qualify for the free/reduced lunch program here at the school, you are eligible to receive fee waivers to take either test for free from the Career Center.

Practice exams at www.act.org (ACT) and www.collegeboard.org (PSAT/SAT). Statistics show that students who practice score higher on the test(s)!
Juniors will have the option to take the SAT at school in the spring.
