Students used playdough to make pencil holders. Student had to do this multiple times in order to build their creativity with original ideas. They then gave positive feedback to their partner. The feedback had to be kind, helpful and specific. We practiced this after each 5 minute creating time. Enjoy all their wonderful ideas!

Students worked together to compare and contrast the difference between a Hershey and a Snicker's Bar. This was a simile for the differences between Rocks and Minerals. (Minerals are pure in form - rocks can be made up of several types of minerals.)
