-SQUID DISSECTION DAY! -

Each student was able to examine and dissect their own squid! Even writing their name on paper with the ink from the squid was an awesome experience for these kids! They were also able to exam some of the different parts under the microscope after going through a series of steps to find the various parts of this sea creature. A memorable day for sure!

Our students enjoyed a fun Halloween challenge - with coding, designing a haunted house and making Dash go Trick or Treating!

Students had 15 minutes to build a lego skyscraper that met certain requirements....then got tested by the force of wind! Check it out!

Students work in groups to test several types of materials. They are using compression, contorsion & tension to see which materials can withstand these different forces.

Creating Pencil Holders with Playdough

Students used playdough to make pencil holders. Student had to do this multiple times in order to build their creativity with original ideas. They then gave positive feedback to their partner. The feedback had to be kind, helpful and specific. We practiced this after each 5 minute creating time. Enjoy all their wonderful ideas!
