First Lego League — Advisor and Coach 2018 and 2019, Advisor 2016 and 2017

Last year’s team made it to championships and finished in the top 20% in the entire LA Region

California Water Challenge — 2018

Facilitated a student-led project in which students learned about Water problems facing California, chose one, came up with a proposed solution, and implemented, built, and created their two-fold solution

Escape the Library Contest — 2020-2021

In collaboration with a parent and two co-teachers, I invented a virtual incentive program to motivate students to read and take comprehension quizzes.

PDI/UCSD Educational Technology Award of Completion August 2021

Completed the Educational Technology Competency Program for teachers of grades K-12 offered by the PDI/ University of California San Diego
