-Recruited students/ families obtaining the minimum starting enrolment requirement
-Created community partnerships- had meetings at the library, a real estate office, or churches and taught classes at a bowling alley, the Nuui Cunni Cultural Center, and other places in the community until we had our own site
- Hunted for and secured the lease of our building with the permission of principal Shirley Oashe
-Wrote the job descriptions for employees
- Interviewed, hired, supervised and managed all employees
-Facilitated all school functions and managed all volunteers
-Reported back to managing supervisors, (principals in Bakersfield or Tehachapi, depending upon who was in charge that year)
-Managed ADT and other security issues including a break-in
- Established and maintained relationship with the owner of the building
- Chaperoned the Tall Ships Trip aboard the Tole Mour for 5th and 6th graders one year
-Found a replacement teacher/ manager in in 2014 so that I could move out of the Kern River Valley and work in Bakersfield
