*** Our end of the year report and animal project is due withing the next few weeks (May 1). ***

Students should be researching their animals and getting ready to put together the reports. Here are a few guidelines:

·         Your child will need help researching the animal for their report.  He/she may need help writing it as well.  I want the work to be their own, but it's okay to help them with the writing if they need it.

·         Do not copy directly from a book or website. Students should be taking notes about what they read in their own words.

·         Also, remember to write the paragraphs on only the front side of the paper. Do not write on the back. Even though there are lines on both sides of the paper, we have asked students to use only one side.

Work on this a little at a time to avoid last-minute stress!

There is no book report in May; however, please note that there is a May poem due on May 14th.
