📌 Reminders & Routines

• Book Logs: Due Oct. 7. Students may turn them in early with 9 or more books logged. Chapter books (50+ pages) count toward the log. Please turn in the book long on the due date even if they read fewer than 9 books. If your child takes an extra book log, send it in on the due date.

• Poems: May be recited early with written parent permission. Students must state the poem’s title and author before reciting. Evaluation will be based on:

  • Clear, strong voice

  • Good inflection and expression

  • Smooth delivery (no hesitation)

  • Good eye contact

  • Accuracy (no errors)
