About Me

Hello!

Welcome to 2nd grade! My name is Mrs. Metza (formerly Miss Webb) and I am your child's 2nd grade teacher. I am so excited to get to know each and every one of you. I am a former Valley student and attended school here for 9 years. I was also the former librarian here, before moving into a 2nd grade classroom. I attended NAU and am Spalding trained. I am so excited to watch your child grow educationally throughout the school year and I can't wait to continue to instill a love of learning with my students.

Fun Facts About Mrs. Metza:

I have two dogs named Penelope and Marley. My hobbies include going on our boat to the lake, spending time with family and friends, AND drag racing a 1986 Ford Mustang at a local dragstrip in Chandler, AZ. I recently got married in October 2024 to my husband, Frank.
