About Me

Hello! My name is Mrs. Maeda, and I’m excited to be your PE and Health teacher. I grew up in Fruitland, Idaho, and began my college journey at Treasure Valley Community College, where I earned my Associate’s degree. I then continued my education at Eastern Oregon University, earning both a Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Performance and a Master’s in Teaching.

Health and wellness have always been a passion of mine, and I love sharing that with students through physical education and health classes.

Outside of the classroom, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family, at the CrossFit gym or out walking my dog. My husband and I also enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking and camping whenever we get the chance.

This is my sixth year teaching in the Vale School District, and I’m excited to get to know all of you and have a fun, active year together!
