1) ADMISSION AND LICENSURE
Qualifications for Admission…VACU has been certified by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) to offer degrees and operates on a semester-based system. Students who are qualified to transfer into VACU can apply. Graduate Students who have a Bachelor degree are eligible to apply for the Graduate program.

2) ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To be admitted to one of the counseling degree program at VACU, applicants to the must have:
(1) General Documents
• Photograph (Taken within the last three months)
• Admissions packet
• Driver’s License Copy, Passport Copy or Green Card
Additional Documents for International Student
• Passport, VISA, I-94 – all copies of primary and dependents applicants
• Household Register Copy (Family or Financial support)
• A Proof of Financial Status
Additional Documents for Transfer Student
• I-20 Copy
• Eligibility confirmation Form
(2) Master of Christian Counseling (MCC)
• Original Certificate of Bachelor Degree in English
• Original Academic Transcripts in English
• Admission Interview
• Course of Application
• Counselor Self-Assessment
(3) Entrance Exam
• Self-evaluation as counselor
• Bible Test
3) APPLICATION PROCESS & ADMISSIONS REGULATION
All requirements and procedures stated in the Admissions and Academic Information sections of VACU Catalog will apply. The instructions and forms that are needed are available online at:
(1) Admission information including application forms is available at the Office of Admissions.
(2) Applicants are expected to satisfy all application requirements including initial interview (except those who apply from outside the U.S.)
(3) Each applicant will be noticed of the decision for admission.
(4) Applicants should contact Office of Admissions once they obtain VISA as soon as possible.
VACU will not be responsible as to the consequences from negligence of applicants.
(5) Prospective students from outside the U.S. are allowed to enter thirty (30) days prior to the first day of semester.
They may be denied an entry for any attempt to enter earlier than 30 days regulation.
(6) If prospective students, after obtained F-1 VISA, do not attend for personal reasons,
all payment made to VACU become non-refundable and I-20 will be cancelled.
(7) All new students are asked to participate in the VACU Student Orientation program.
