If you're using a VUSD Windows desktop or laptop and are signed in with your district account, you can change your password directly through Windows.
Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE on your keyboard at the same time.
Select Change a password from the menu.
Follow the prompts to enter your current password and create a new password.
Submit your changes to complete the process.
Once your password has been successfully changed, your updated credentials will synchronize with your other connected district services.
If you're using a device other than a district Windows computer, you'll need to use the district's online password change page.
This includes:
π Apple iMacs and MacBooks
π» Chromebooks
π± Smartphones and tablets
π Personal computers or other devices
Open a web browser, such as Google Chrome or Safari.
Visit the official district password change website:
π Change Your VUSD District Password
Follow the instructions on the website to change your password.
Once completed, use your new password when signing in to district services.
You may notice that the password change website still displays Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Web Access branding.
This is normal!
Although the page uses older Microsoft Outlook branding, it remains the district-designated website for changing your VUSD password.
You can change your password by opening Manage your Google Account β Security β Password.
However, there's an important difference!
Changing your password directly through Google ONLY changes your Google account password.
It does not update the password used for your district Windows computer or Aeries account.
This can result in different passwords being required for different district services, which may cause confusion when signing in.
Always change your VUSD password using one of the two district-approved methods:
District Windows Computer: CTRL + ALT + DELETE β Change a password
Other Devices: VUSD Password Change Website
