If the projector doesn’t display an image or doesn’t power on, don’t worry — here are a few quick things to check before calling for help.
💬 Pro Tip: If there’s still no image, the projector may be set to the wrong input.
Use the remote or FrontRow panel to select the correct source (usually HDMI 1 or Computer).
Make sure the projector is powered on (look for a blue light).
Verify that the computer is turned on and not asleep.
Check that the HDMI cable is securely connected on both ends.
If using Epson iProjection, confirm that you’re connected to the correct projector IP address displayed on the screen.
Try pressing Windows + P and choose Duplicate to share your display.
💬 Pro Tip: Some classrooms have speakers controlled by the FrontRow panel — look for a Volume or Audio slider on the touch screen.
Confirm that your computer’s volume is turned up and not muted.
If using HDMI, make sure the audio output is set to the projector or classroom sound system.
On Windows: Click the 🔊 Speaker icon → choose EPSON Projector or HDMI Audio Output.
If the room uses a FrontRow system, check that the volume on the panel is turned up.
If none of the above steps work:
Contact the Head Secretary for assistance.
They can notify the Technology Department to dispatch help if needed.
