My research is inherently complex as I often study innovation adoption in diverse international contexts with participants worldwide. Innovators and early adopters are typically a small population to study, and technological innovations themselves are quite dynamic, limiting the opportunity to examine a new technology in a given context. Despite these challenges, I have identified multiple key drivers and inhibitors in the innovation decision-making process, which has had direct application for both practitioners and researchers in the IT field. My research is extensive, well-cited, and appears in top peer-reviewed journals. I extensively integrate the data I collect and my research findings into the classes I teach. This ranges from assignments and activities exploring my research questions to engaging discussions of my findings.
