Student Support

What we do to support our Students

At UWS, we are here for our students: this is reflected in the various support mechanisms we have in place - from funding advice to counselling.

In addition to your programme induction events, we are providing you with important information about other support mechanisms here as well -- all of which are aimed at helping you settle into your new university life.

...before you formally start your Programme

We have arrange a number of support mechanisms (including sessions), specifically - but not exclusively -- targeted at our new students. We will also be running our 'The SBCI Way' session as part of your induction weeks.

Let us help you settle into University!

In order to help you settle into your new university life, we have arranged a number of events and support sessions, tailored towards our new students. These events are organised by the various departments and support teams, mainly our international advice, library, funding and advice and careers and skills teams...

These additional induction and welcome events have been set up for your induction weeks. Please note that some of these events also run throughout the whole academic year - all information can be found in the Support Sharepoint:

Ongoing Support Mechanisms

Once you have started your programme, we are offering additional support sessions in order to help you with your academic journey, and there are loads of other support mechanisms in place that are available to you throughout your entire time at UWS.
