This video was recorded over a span of two weeks in February 2020. Throughout the video I changed locations based on where the person I was interviewing was. However, all of the video clips were taped in southwest Wisconsin. This video would be useful to inform or educate the effects that music has on students in a school district where the school board is contemplating getting rid of the music program.
The purpose of this video is to help inform school districts as well as the general public about the impact that music has on a variety of people of all ages. The purpose is also to show support for the music programs in school and the students that are involved in music in any way.
The style of this video is music appreciation and showing that music is important to a variety of people in different parts of their life.
In this video, I am trying to evoke a feeling of appreciation for the music that is in people's lives.
While editing this video, I had to cut out the beginning and end of most of the clips in order to create a smooth transition with no movement or unnecessary talking. I also had to edit my niece dancing and cut out her stopping and us encouraging her to dance.
