Adam BellCorelli
Adam BellCorelli is a Regional Transportation Planner at East Central WI Regional Planning Commission and an active community member interested in social connections and sustainable transportation, along with building community resilience beginning with the local schools. Adam has been a part of many local initiatives such as Hope Fridge, Heroes of Oshkosh, Oshkosh Food Co-op Food Justice, City Committees, Lego League, Cub Scouts, and the ESTHER Transportation Task Force. Adam has an MPA from UW Oshkosh and runs 14&3 A Leadership Development Nonprofit.
UWO Wildlife and Conservation Club strives to promote wildlife management and conservation on campus. We have successfully implemented multiple Green Fund projects including bird strike prevention window stickers, campus native prairie educational signage, bat acoustic monitoring devices, and funds for native plantings on campus. Our members are from diverse disciplines but our passion for wildlife brings us together. We will be discussing how to build a Wisconsin native butterfly garden during our presentation. We will also have a table with native plant activities.
Chris Brittnacher
Chris is a retired oncology nurse who has been interested in conserving resources since college. She grows vegetables, and native plants, preserves produce and foraged food. She finds joy in creatively preventing food waste, reducing consumption, and reusing materials. She volunteers for Citizens’ Climate Lobby and PopEarth.
Shannon Davis-Foust
Shannon is a Lecturer at UWO and has over 15 years of experience teaching environmental topics. She is a hobby farmer, avid gardener, wildlife watcher, beekeeper, and in her spare time, volunteers for many environmental groups, including the Wild Ones Fox Valley Chapter, Citizens Climate Lobby, Winnebago Audubon Society, and Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin.
Joyce Frohn
Joyce Frohn graduated from UW Oshkosh in 1995. She is a professional writer. She has been published in both poetry and prose a total of 302 times. She's not rich, yet.
Theresa Granados
Theresa is with In The Roots. She enjoys community gardening and volunteer projects in the Fox Valley. She's involved in committees and creates educational gardening presentations. She has a YouTube page with gardening and pollinator videos. She is currently enrolled in a Native Plant Certification with Wild Ones.
Pat Hallquist
Pat is a retired science teacher/chemist and co-leader of the Oshkosh chapter of the Citizens' Climate Lobby. She is tabling at Free School to help people better understand what causes climate change and what steps are needed to solve climate change.
Jill Hennes
Jill is a craft instructor who has been teaching various mediums for over 30 years. She is an award-winning picture framer and quilter who has been book folding for 10 years now. Being self-taught, she also designs custom Patterns and gives private lessons in a variety of crafts. She Owned Omro Gallery for 12 years in Omro, WI, and is currently employed as a marketing rep for Alta Resources.
Tim Killian
Tim is a UWO alum with twenty-six years of experience working in local, community-based theater.
Bryce & Max Lutcherhand
Bryce and Max Luchterhand have owned and operated the family farm since 1973. Bryce milked cows, was a teacher, and has held positions in every level of government from local school board to running a federal agency. Max is a registered nurse. She participated in the Wisconsin Leadership Program, was a Lamaze instructor, and served as a school nurse on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona. They have taken steps to preserve the farm for future generations by moving ownership to a family trust. Soil, forest, wildlife, and land conservation have all been part of their farm's story.
John Moyles
John is the founder of J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue (JRAAR). He has been working in the pet industry since 1996 and founded JRAAR in 2020 in order to give people options for their unwanted pets other than releasing them into the wild. JRAAR maintains a 2400 sq foot adoption center in Neenah where people can meet adoptable pets and hosts Exotic Pet Surrender Events around the state in order to help people and pets in areas without resources for their unwanted exotic pets.
JRAAR will have several ambassador animals that people can meet and learn about.
MaryBeth Petesch
MaryBeth spent her working life as an educator in some shape or form. Her passion for environmental education, biology, and general science was shared with middle and high school students in Wisconsin and at the International School of Frankfurt, Germany, and university students at UWO and Marian. She spent the last 20 years of her career at UWO in the College of Education and Human Services as the Field Experience Director and the Certifying Officer for teacher education students. She is on the board of directors for Winnebago Audubon where she is involved in STEM nights at the elementary schools helping provide owl pellet dissections. How fun! She is also Co-President of Oshkosh AAUW and a member of various environmentally focused groups.
Ann Rosenber
Ann is a licensed raptor rehabilitator who lives in rural Neenah. She also holds an educational permit and does programs with a Great Horned Owl, Fran. She loves to share information with anyone who will listen about the fascinating adaptations and benefits of having raptors in your backyard and the importance of keeping a space for them to thrive in.
John Scheelk
John has been gardening for over sixty years. My interests now revolve around urban and small space gardens. I volunteer with UW-O students with various environmental and gardening projects. I am a devout follower of Dr. Shannon Davis-Faust and her teachings.
