Our UWF chapter of WiCyS aligns closely with the values of our parent organization, upholding the importance of including women and recognizing their contributions within the male-dominated field of cybersecurity. We aim to uphold this belief through our actions, and therefore strive to create a welcoming atmosphere that includes all identities and skill levels. This is reflected in our meeting formats, where we provide introductory level lectures on popular cybersecurity topics, access to learning experiences such as cyber competitions and games, and professional development opportunities for those without resumes and other required hiring materials.
