Let's face it, command line interfaces (CLI) are a big part of being a student within the realm of Computer Science. Most students now-a-days are use to having a graphic user interface (GUI) on their Windows, Macs, or smartphones. So it can come as a huge shock when introduced to some of the tools of our trade; it's important to have a strong understanding and familiarity with CLI commands because a lot of the tools we use have greater versatility in the command line.
