The Cybersecurity Club at the University of West Florida is a student-driven organization dedicated to advancing cybersecurity knowledge and hands-on skills. Our mission is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where students from all technical backgrounds can collaborate to explore, practice, and excel in cybersecurity.
With around 50 active members from majors such as Cybersecurity, Computer Science, and Information Technology, we engage in various activities, including Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions, cyber defense challenges, technical workshops, and speaker events with industry professionals. We provide opportunities for beginners and experienced members to learn, collaborate, and grow, whether preparing for certifications or seeking careers in the cybersecurity industry.
We strive to equip our members with the tools and connections they need to succeed in this rapidly evolving field through competitions, training sessions, and networking opportunities. Join us to develop your skills, make lasting connections, and become part of a thriving cybersecurity community!
