Remember- in the university counseling process you are ,as student ,a driver, driving the process and your counselors are GPS.

Thus if you give wrong information to counselors or are dishonest about your plans we will not be able to give you proper advice- like GPS needs location/ so it can give you steps/route to desired location, if location is false you will not arrive where you intended to.
RULES AND PROCEDURES OF UNIVERSITY COUNSELING PROCESS FOR CLASS of 2027:
-Total amount of school one can apply to is 12 worldwide, out of 10, a maximum 8 can be US universities/colleges, 5 UK unis is counted as 1 spot out of 10, University of California system is counted as 3 campuses= 1 spot out of 10, US universities with campuses abroad (NYU, Bard College, Northwestern, Duke) are counted as 1 application
- A student is allowed to apply to 1 EARLY DECISION US College, multiple EARLY ACTION US college/university
- One can only apply to EITHER CAMBRIDGE OR OXFORD; you can NOT apply to both (this is per Cambridge/Oxford rules)
- Each student will schedule a meeting with a university counselor at LEAST 2 times between February/Term 2- January/Term 4
- Students will work on creating a balanced list of the universities, including having safety or plan B options.
- Student will read e-mails sent by UCO and adhere to internal deadlines as set in the UC monthly advising calendar
-Student is responsible for/to:
Submit college/university applications on time,
submitting financial aid documents and financial aid/scholarship application on time to the university of their choice,
answer surveys sent by UCO
Read emails in a timely manner
-UCO sends to universities of your choice (12 worldwide) transcripts and recommendation letters
- UCO issues transcripts: Transcripts include Year 1 grade and Predicted grade, Term 3 once T3 grades are out, and Term 4
In order to get a transcript of predicted grades student must sign the attestation provided by UCO and returned signed attestation to UCO. Once UCO receives via email signed attestation transcript will be released to the student within 5 business days. UCO creates transcripts mid october for Y1+PG of October, mid-December for Y1+ PG of December grades, Mid January for T3 grades and mid-May for Term 4 grades.
UWC Mostar transcripts reflect the date of birth, nationality, full name of the student. Subjects' names, levels, and grades. Transcript do not include teachers' commentary, attendance, or effort grades.

Middle of October- UK medicine/vetenary/dentistry+Oxford+Cambridge deadline
November 1st- US early deadline
January 1st- US regular deadline
Middle of January- Canadian universities deadline+ Netherlands Studielink deadline
February 1st- Ireland university deadline
