The Acumen Fund is one of the world's best known impact investors in social enterprises.

The Fund offers a number of courses in social entrepreneurship and is focused on systems thinking and human centered design. If you are interested in developing your skills further, you might consider taking one of their courses. A number of the Acumen Academy courses are offered in the summer. Many are free.

Standford's d.school is one of the leading schools of design in the United States. Its mission is to help people unlock their creative abilities and apply them to the world. The school operates on the belief that design should be accessible to all, and that everyone is creative. Thus, much of what it develops has been made available for all to use through Creative Commons licenses.

The Purpose Challenge Toolkit is a project of the Greater Good Science Center at University of California Berkeley. The goal of the Toolkit is to help students understand purpose and its importance to their own lives and wellbeing. Having a sense of purpose can be a critical part of being willing to take initiative to make change.

Ubiquity university is an accredited global university for social impact. It offers a variety of learning pathways, from short introductory nano-courses, to full degrees. Some courses are free.

Y Combinator is one of the world's best known seed funders of start-ups.

Twice per year, the firm offers a relatively small amount of money (USD 150,000) to approximately 2,000 start-ups. To help develop start-ups, Y Combinator offers a free Startup School that you can join anytime. The curriculum is aimed at business models, but the advice they offer is extremely useful for starting and scaling social innovations and enterprises as well. In addition, you'll get to meet other changemakers like yourself. At any one time, there are thousands of startups participating in the Startup School. It's an exciting group!
