Competition open to all currently enrolled students at UWT
Students are encouraged to work collaborativey, in teams of no more than 2 people
teams of 2 will split the prize money
Winning teams are expected to build their design for Tacoma's Park(ing) Day 2024

a top-down plan view drawing (hand-drawn is fine) in which
elements are shown to scale
elements are labled
optional: a perspective drawing (included with the plan view drawing)
a short narrative descreption + rationale (not to exceed 300 words)
a preliminary budget (not to exceed $300) that explains what monies will be spent on
Positive Factors for Consideration
Positive Factors for Consideration
The jury will consider the following in making their determinations:
Materials: are these sustainable and easily transported and manuevered?
Connection to the city and/or region: do elements of this design connect it to the city and/or region?
Sociability: does the design encourage and promote social activity?
