Research Questions:
What are the necessary skills in change management that are used by the RED recipients in their projects?
What traits/components/characteristics of the teams contribute to the success of engineering education change projects?
How does the MACH curriculum support a change leader’s ability to make change?
How do change agents empower stakeholders to develop a shared vision for change?
How does context, broadly defined, affect the ability to create change?
Research Methods:
We conduct focus groups with each RED team at the beginning and the midpoints of their projects.
We observe monthly REDCON calls, the annual REDCON meeting, and Start Up Sessions.
We rely on a grounded theory approach to data analysis, a qualitative methodology that allows us to move between data and theory-building through processes of emergent coding.
