Download Panopto

About

If you plan to use Panopto to record videos, you need to first download the program. (*You can skip this step if only planning to use Panopto as a video repository.) You only need download once to your device to use Panopto in all your courses.

Download Steps

Go to any Canvas course
> Panopto Recordings
> Create
> Record a New Session
> Download Panopto and then follow the install instructions

If you plan on recording in Panopto it can be helpful if you have the program in the taskbar (Windows) or in dock (Mac).
