When exposed to adversity, such as earthquake, some individuals are more vulnerable to develop stress-related disorders, such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. In contrast, others are less adversely affected by adversity, who are often described as “resilient”. In this course, we will explore what resilience means in the context of specific challenges and discuss how we can promote the resilience factors to help individuals stay resilient during the difficult time.
This course incorporates the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) component.
