I spend most of my time working on philosophical and ethical issues associated with real-life injustices especially as they apply to public and global health and to healthcare. My publications include work on relational equality, moral distress in nursing, gendered values in the health sciences, and health inequities.
I am currently writing a book assessing which conceptions of justice best fit public health ethics and policy. Research on the book project is supported with funding from the National Institutes of Health. For future research projects, I plan to work on gendered language and LLMs and on the ethics of mental well-being.
