Associate Professor, Benjamin Rabinowitz Philosophy Chair in Medical Ethics
Program on Ethics and Department of Philosophy, University of Washington
After completing my PhD at University College London, I conducted research on occupational health and its policy for UK industry and government. Before joining the University of Washington in Seattle, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Ethics Center of the University of Zurich. My BA and MA degrees are from the University of Johannesburg.
Currently I am the holder of a National Institutes of Health and National Library of Medicine grant for scholarly works in Biomedicine and Health. I am also a program committee member of the American Philosophical Association's Pacific Division and I am a co-leader of the Public Health Affinity Group of the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities.
Outside of work, I enjoy paddleboarding, pickleballing, novels, and playing boardgames with my friends and family.
My CV will be available here soon. For the moment, please email me for a copy.
